For Schools 學校使用
Schools can help their staff and students get convenient access to the Cantonese Font, learning materials, and companion web app, while supporting the projects to ensure their longevity. We also provide content creation (including migration service), in-school workshops and professional development.
Resource Access
In education, it is often more convenient if the content (fonts, eBooks, interactive pages / apps) is hosted or embedded in your Learning Management System (LMS, e.g., Moodle), or as an asset managed by the Library.
Generally we need to discuss which resources your school needs, the number of expected users per year, as well as support arrangements needed.
Note that this arrangement will not include accounts on http://www.visual-fonts.com, thus gives no access to web applications; however, this is often the easiest for teachers and administrators to manage.
Special Education Needs
Schools working with SEN students may need additional support, e.g., customization of the Font. We will be happy to support you.
Staff discounts
We can generate a set of one-time-use coupons for your institution. Under this scheme, your staff and students (or members) will manage their own purchase of a Pass (of their choice).
In general the following bulk discounts are available:
- 10-50 seats: 20% off
- 50-100 seats: 25% off
- 100+ seats: 30% off
Services
Workshops and Professional Development
We can provide professional development for staff in English or Cantonese, as well as run interactive workshops for Grade 7-12 and university students. These should generally be organized 4–6 weeks in advance.
Content Commission / Migration
Institutions may wish to commission new courseware, or migrate existing works to use Jyutping+. Our expertise, network, and internal tooling can manage this daunting task from start to end at competitive rates.
