Youth Writing Collection 兒童粵文寫作 2025

今年夏天，粵語工房聯同粵語愛爾蘭以及舊金山龍門出版，籌備咗一個全球兒童青少年粵文徵文活動。收到九個國家、逾四十篇投稿後，三位評審（黎智豐博士、劉擇明教授、謝傲霜女士）選出十八篇優秀作品。

This summer, canto.hk joined forces with Cantonese in Ireland and Dragon Men publishing (San Francisco) in sponsoring and hosting a global children’s Cantonese Writing initiative. After receiving over forty submissions from nine countries, our esteemed judges (Dr Hugo Lai, Prof Lau Chaak Ming, and Ms Stella Tse) selected 18 pieces for an anthology.

• 執正用字
• 標注粵拼
• 翻譯英文
• 配音朗讀

製作成為一本精美小冊子。

Some of these stories are funny while others are poignant. Most are easy read even for learners. For these selected pieces, we

• standardized the orthography (character choice)
• annotated with Jyutping
• translated into English
• commissioned voice narration

And compiled these into a beautiful booklet.

坊間極缺有語音、粵拼+漢字、英文並行嘅材料，所以合集對教與學均有所廣益。故此，我哋決定將電子 PDF、個別故事錄音、單獨故事全部都免費公開於我哋網站：我手寫我心 2025 電子資源 大家可以多多 forward 俾朋友、社群。

Parallel voice-Cantonese-English with co-located Jyutping is immensely useful learning material, but very costly to produce and rare. We have decided to open all of this material to the public for free on our website Writing from the Heart 2025 Electronic Resources. Please share with your communities!

The Cantonese Writing Initiative was free to enter, received no government/institution support, and entirely funded by the hosts. We hope to learn from the experience and continue running the event in the future.
