Synopsis

In 1979, a Vietnamese cargo ship carrying more than two thousand refugees sailed into Hong Kong maritime zone. The government ordered the marine police to intercept the ship, preventing the refugees from landing. Two thousand people were stranded on the sea for four months.

With the typhoon season soon beginning in June, the refugees voted for five representatives to discuss the next step, a decision that would mean the life and death of all aboard.

故事大綱

1979年，載住二千多名越南難民的貨船「天運號」駛入⾹港海域，港英政府派出⽔警攔截，以防難民靠岸。二千人在海上滯留四個⽉，然而六月颱風將至，眾人以投票的⽅式揀選五個⼈，去商討⼀個⽅案，解決眼前的困局。
